An exciting opportunity for an experienced Captain to join a 30m private/charter new-build motor yacht, scheduled to enter service in April 2027.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build and lead their own team of five crew members and play a key role in preparing the yacht for its launch and operations.
The yacht is expected to operate 10–12 charters per year, with private use by the Owner, a young family, in between charters.
A key requirement for this position is the ability to manage the yacht in-house, working closely with a Greek shore-based accountant. The Owner is looking for a proactive, organised Captain with strong management skills and a hands-on approach to the overall running of the vessel.
This is an excellent opportunity to build a long-term relationship with the Owner, with potential for future growth.

The yacht is Mediterranean-based and operates a private cruising programme with a crew of seven onboard. This is an excellent opportunity for a Captain looking to take command of a privately operated yacht, working closely with the owners and a reputable management company to ensure a professional, enjoyable and well-run programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall command and operation of the vessel, overseeing navigation, safety, crew management, maintenance planning and the day-to-day running of the yacht.
The owners are looking for someone with an approachable personality, a good sense of humour and a positive outlook, who can maintain a relaxed yet professional atmosphere onboard while ensuring the highest standards of safety and operation.
Building a strong working relationship with the owners and their family will be particularly important. The Captain should understand their preferences, respect their privacy and remain flexible as cruising plans evolve.
A hands-on approach to leadership is essential, supporting the crew, communicating openly and addressing challenges calmly and constructively. The role will also involve overseeing maintenance schedules, managing contractors and budgets, and working closely with the yacht’s management company.
Candidates must have previous command experience onboard private motor yachts of a comparable size. A Master 500 ticket or larger is preferred, and applicants must hold a Schengen visa or European passport in hand.
Strong leadership and organisational skills are essential, alongside experience managing crew, maintenance programmes, contractors and operational budgets. The ideal candidate will be personable, approachable and genuinely invested in crew welfare, while maintaining clear professional standards. Longevity in previous positions will be favoured.
Permanent position with a good monthly salary, paid in USD. Mediterranean-based programme with an anticipated start date within the next two to three weeks.

POSITION & WORKING ARRANGEMENT
The initial assignment will cover the winter period, providing relief to the current Captain, who has extensive experience on board and is expected to remain in command during the summer season with the Owner.
During periods of overlapping service, the successful candidate must be willing to serve as Chief Officer / First Officer, working alongside the current Captain to ensure an effective handover, operational continuity and consistent onboard standards.
REQUIRED PROFILE
Valid professional Certificate of Competency appropriate to the vessel’s gross tonnage and recognised by the Portuguese Flag Administration.
Valid STCW certificates and medical fitness certification.
GMDSS certification, as applicable.
Proven experience on large private yachts, preferably 50m+ and over 500 GT.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and coordinate a crew of varying sizes.
Experience managing multicultural teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Sound knowledge of applicable maritime regulations, safety requirements and onboard compliance.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges calmly and effectively.
A methodical approach, with high standards of order, punctuality and professionalism.

CAPTAIN – SACS REBEL 47 – DAY CHARTER – FRANCE
We are looking for an experienced Captain for a luxury day charter onboard a stunning 2020 Sacs Rebel 47, 14.1m, with twin 440hp Volvo Penta engines.
The position is for a solo Captain, with no crew onboard. The boat is based in a marina near Monaco.
Yachtmaster qualification is preferred. Previous experience with day charters, modern boats and excellent close-quarter boat handling is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong client interaction skills and good knowledge of the French Riviera.
The dates are 2nd–4th September, from 10:00 to 18:00 each day.
The cruising area will include Roquebrune, Monaco, Cannes and the Lérins Islands.
Day rate is €340–€400 depending on experience, plus tips.
There may be more dates available in the future, with the potential for a more permanent position.

Captain / Chief Stewardess Couple – 100ft Power Catamaran

We are looking for an experienced and professional Captain / Chief Stewardess couple to join a newly delivered 100ft, 300 GT private Power Catamaran starting in early September 2026. A strong Captain / Chef couple may also be considered.
This is an active private family program with approximately 20 weeks of owner usage per year, generally consisting of trips of less than two weeks. The owners maintain high standards while looking for a professional crew who will be a great fit with their active, family-oriented lifestyle. Strong diving experience is required.
The initial itinerary includes the Cannes Yachting Festival, followed by cruising in the Greek Islands from approximately September 20th, with likely winter cruising in Cyprus and Istanbul. The yacht is expected to cruise the Mediterranean through the summer 2027 season before potentially shipping to the USA for the winter season, with possible U.S. East Coast cruising. Once based in the USA, summer usage is expected to be lighter, allowing for crew vacation periods.
Candidates should have proven experience in similar Captain / Chief Stewardess or Captain / Chef roles, ideally within a high-standard private family program. A professional, hands-on and team-oriented approach is essential, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Candidates should be comfortable working within an active family environment and have excellent references.
The Captain salary is USD $12,500 per month, while the Chief Stewardess / Chef salary is DOE. The package includes a 13th-month bonus, 60 days leave per year, two economy flights per year, and a long-term opportunity to work aboard a newly delivered vessel.
