A private/charter 49.9m motor yacht is seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to join the crew at the end of July. This Italian-built, Cayman-flagged yacht operates a busy private and charter programme, cruising the Western Mediterranean and beyond, with a professional and established crew.

This is a rotational position offering a 10 weeks on/10 weeks off schedule, shared cabin accommodation, a competitive salary based on experience, and the opportunity to earn charter tips.

The role is ideal for a hands-on Chief Engineer who enjoys project-driven engineering and takes pride in improving onboard systems rather than simply maintaining daily operations. The vessel is a newer build, and the successful candidate will be proactive, practical, and willing to get involved in all aspects of the engineering department.

Applicants must have a minimum of five years' superyacht engineering experience and hold valid STCW, ENG1, and a Chief Engineer Y3 Certificate of Competency (STCW III/3) as a minimum. A Cayman Islands Endorsement and MTU engine course certification would be considered advantageous.
