DECKHAND (ROTA) - M/Y 80M

Experienced Deckhand required for an 80m M/Y, starting mid-September 2026.

Salary is €3,200–€3,500 depending on experience, with a 4:1 leave rotation.

This is a busy and well-run 80m superyacht with a dual-season program, cruising the Mediterranean in summer and the Red Sea and Indian Ocean in winter. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deckhand to join a professional and hardworking deck team.

The role will involve daily deck maintenance, including washdowns, polishing, painting and varnishing, as well as assisting with anchoring, mooring and line handling. You will also be involved in guest operations, including tender driving, water sports and beach club setups.

You will be expected to take an active role in onboard safety procedures, emergency drills and stretcher handling, while helping to maintain the vessel to a high standard at all times.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 full seasons of superyacht experience, valid STCW including updated Security Awareness, a current ENG1 and Powerboat Level 2 or equivalent. FIRST MATE – S/Y 39M - Caribbean

We are currently looking for an experienced First Mate to join a professionally run 39m Malta-flagged commercial sailing yacht.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced sailor with good offshore sailing experience and the ability to take responsibility onboard. A Yachtmaster Offshore qualification is essential, while Yachtmaster Ocean is highly desirable. An OOW qualification would also be an advantage.

Candidates must hold valid STCW certification with Advanced STCW qualifications, including Advanced Fire Fighting and Advanced Sea Survival, as well as a valid ENG1.

DECKHAND/CHASE BOAT CAPTAIN - M/Y 50m - Med

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Deck/Engineer to join a 33m private motor yacht for a seasonal position, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The yacht has recently arrived in the Mediterranean onboard a transport ship and is preparing for the remainder of the season. Based in Italy, she operates a private Mediterranean programme for a lovely family and offers a professional and enjoyable onboard environment. The initial contract runs until 31st October 2026, with a strong possibility of a permanent position thereafter.

This is a varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys working across both the deck and engineering departments. The successful candidate will assist with all day-to-day deck operations while supporting the engineering department with routine maintenance, technical checks, and the smooth operation of the yacht's onboard systems. It is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their skills within a professionally managed programme.

Candidates must have previous experience as a Deck/Engineer onboard motor yachts, with strong engineering knowledge considered essential. We are looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to integrate quickly into an established crew.

The position is based in the Mediterranean, with a start date of approximately 13th August. Salary: DOE. Candidates must be available to join immediately and hold a valid Schengen visa or European passport.

First Mate - 22m Charter Cat - Med

We are seeking an experienced First Mate to join a 22m luxury motor charter catamaran operating throughout the South of France, Corsica, and Sardinia. The position is available from 23 August on a one-year contract. Candidates should have a minimum of one year's experience in a similar role, with a Yachtmaster Certificate preferred. A valid RYA Personal Watercraft (PWC) and Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) qualification are required, while an RYA PWC Instructor certificate would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be energetic, physically active, and experienced in a variety of water sports. They should be a strong team player, adaptable, and willing to assist with all aspects of yacht operations. Salary is dependent on experience. BOSUN - M/Y 40M (NEW BUILD) - MED

Bosun – 40m M/Y New Build, start date ideally from the 10th of August

This role is open to male candidates due to cabin sharing - 60 days leave with a starting salary of 4500 Euro.

Working closely with the captain, we are looking for the right personality who is ideally a self-starter, keen to setup their own chase boat and work closely with the Chief Officer in setting up and running the deck.

The role could be ideal for an established Lead Deck or Bosun looking for their first Chase Boat operator’s role, who is into their water sports and has a good knowledge of deck toys.

The ongoing itinerary for the season will be, North of France and Portugal before heading to Monaco.

Qualifications: Yacht Master Offshore, STCW, ENG1 - 4 years’ experience in this industry, working on similar size vessels ideally with charter experience.

CHIEF OFFICER – M/Y 47m – PRIVATE & CHARTER – MED

Seven Seas Recruitment is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a 47m private and charter motor yacht by 23rd August in the Mediterranean.

Based in the South of France, the yacht operates a busy Mediterranean season combining private use and charter, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and an exceptional guest experience. This is a single-season programme offering the opportunity to join a well-run vessel with a positive onboard culture.

Working closely with the Captain, the Chief Officer will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the yacht, overseeing deck operations, safety management, crew leadership, maintenance planning, tender operations, and guest activities. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being actively involved across all areas of the programme.

The position would suit an experienced Chief Officer from a similar-sized yacht, or a strong Second Officer currently serving on a larger vessel who is ready to take the next step in their career.

Candidates must hold a valid OOW 3000 certificate as a minimum. Those who have already started working towards their Chief Mate 3000 licence through additional courses will be viewed very favourably. A Schengen visa or European passport in hand is essential, and a PWC Instructor certificate is preferred.

The position offers a strong salary DOE and 60 days leave per year.

BOSUN – M/Y 38m – CHARTER - BAHAMAS

We are seeking an experienced Bosun to join a busy 38m charter motor yacht in the Bahamas ASAP.

The yacht has two charter bookings scheduled for August, followed by a shipyard period to prepare for a busy Caribbean charter season. Industry-standard leave is offered, with salary DOE.

The ideal candidate will have previous Bosun experience, strong deck maintenance skills, an excellent eye for detail, and confidence with guest operations, tender driving, and watersports. A strong knowledge of deck operations, safety procedures, and exterior standards is essential, along with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to perform well under pressure.

Yachtmaster Offshore and a B1/B2 visa are required.
