BOSUN (ROTA) - M/Y 70+M (NEW BUILD) - MED/US

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Bosun to join a 75m+ new-build Lürssen private motor yacht from 1st November.

The yacht is currently world-cruising and offers a varied operational environment with opportunities to develop both deck and bridge experience. The position is rotational, with 3 months on and 1 month off, and offers a competitive salary depending on experience, flights and an annual training allowance of up to $2,000 following probation.

The role is approximately 80% deck-based and 20% administrative. Responsibilities include assisting with the daily organisation and supervision of the deck department, working closely with senior officers, overseeing maintenance and painting, coordinating the deck team and supporting daily operations. The Bosun will also be required to relieve the Third Officer when necessary.

Candidates must hold a valid OOW 3000 ticket and have previous Bosun or senior deck experience. Strong deck maintenance, painting, leadership, organisational and communication skills are essential. Experience or a genuine interest in fishing, diving and water sports would be a great advantage.

3 X Deckhand (Rota) – M/Y 60m Heavy Charter  – Med/Caribbean

Seven Seas Recruitment is currently recruiting for three experienced Deckhands to join a reputable 60m heavy charter motor yacht. The positions are rotational on a 3:1 basis, with a strong salary paid in USD plus charter tips.

The yacht is currently in a shipyard in Italy and will remain there until November before heading to the Caribbean for the winter season. Two charters are already confirmed for December, followed by a trip with the Owner. The three positions have staggered start dates, with one position available immediately, a second towards the end of September, and the third towards the end of October.

Tender driving will be a significant part of the role, so candidates must have strong practical experience driving different types of tenders, including outboards, jet tenders and wake-surf boats.

The Captain is particularly interested in Deckhands who enjoy watersports and are confident working with guests on the water. Wake-surfing experience would be a major advantage, although other strong watersports experience will also be considered.

The successful candidates should have a solid foundation in yachting, understand the pace and standards of a busy charter programme, and be reliable, hardworking and easy to work with. These are intended to be long-term positions, so proven longevity in previous roles will be important.

A valid Yachtmaster certificate is essential for all three positions. Candidates must also have strong tender-driving experience, ideally across different propulsion types, as well as good watersports experience. Candidates should hold a valid Schengen visa or European passport. A B1/B2 visa is advantageous.

This is a busy and well-run 80m superyacht with a dual-season program, cruising the Mediterranean in summer and the Red Sea and Indian Ocean in winter. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Deckhand to join a professional and hardworking deck team.

The role will involve daily deck maintenance, including washdowns, polishing, painting and varnishing, as well as assisting with anchoring, mooring and line handling. You will also be involved in guest operations, including tender driving, water sports and beach club setups.

You will be expected to take an active role in onboard safety procedures, emergency drills and stretcher handling, while helping to maintain the vessel to a high standard at all times.

Applicants must have a minimum of 2 full seasons of superyacht experience, valid STCW including updated Security Awareness, a current ENG1 and Powerboat Level 2 or equivalent. You should be a confident tender driver with good knowledge of deck products, maintenance procedures and safe working practices.

FIRST MATE – S/Y 39M - Caribbean

We are currently looking for an experienced First Mate to join a professionally run 39m Malta-flagged commercial sailing yacht.

The ideal candidate will be a confident and experienced sailor with good offshore sailing experience and the ability to take responsibility onboard. A Yachtmaster Offshore qualification is essential, while Yachtmaster Ocean is highly desirable. An OOW qualification would also be an advantage.
