Sous Chef – M/Y 60m Commercial - US

The Head Chef is looking for a Sous Chef with an established shore-based culinary background who can bring fresh ideas and creativity to the team. Strong bread-making or dessert skills would be a great advantage, as the Head Chef is keen to work with the successful candidate to further develop these skills and introduce new ideas onboard.
You can be new to the yachting industry, as the Head Chef will provide training and guidance to help you step into his role when he is away on vacation. This will include taking responsibility for cooking for the guests.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, looking for a long-term position, and a definite non-smoker, including no vaping. Ideally, you will also lead an active and healthy lifestyle, as the crew enjoy getting out and exploring and are a sporty, active team.
Qualifications required: STCW, ENG1, Food Hygiene Level 2, PDSD and B1/B2, all in hand.
