Second Officer – 96m Motor Yacht

A 96-meter private motor yacht is seeking a motivated and professional Second Officer to join the team in Cartagena, Spain. This is a full-time rotational position onboard a busy worldwide cruising vessel.
Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience as OOW on yachts over 70 meters, ideally progressing through the experience route rather than a cadetship. Previous commercial or shore-based maritime experience before joining the yachting industry will be viewed as a strong advantage. Applicants must demonstrate a solid working knowledge of bridge systems, navigation procedures, and passage planning, together with familiarity in ISM, ISPS, and vessel safety operations. Experience in helicopter operations is desirable, with HLO certification preferred.
The successful candidate will act as Navigating Officer, maintaining bridge and navigation systems including Kongsberg, GMDSS, Gyro, WASSP, SonaSoft, and Farsounder equipment. They will manage all charts and publications (both paper and electronic), prepare and execute passage plans with the bridge team, and assist senior officers in maintaining PMS, FFA, and LSA checklists. Additional duties include supporting helicopter operations, standing bridge watches at sea and at anchor, and assisting with deck maintenance, tender operations, and general upkeep as required.
This role will suit a practical, level-headed officer looking to develop within a professional, compliance-driven program. The ideal candidate is dependable, conscientious, and eager to contribute to a strong, well-structured deck team. Fluent written and spoken English is essential, and candidates must hold a B1/B2 visa and preferably a Schengen passport or visa.

HMG is looking for a rotational Chief Engineer for a 47m motor yacht. Y3 level or above CoC. Commencing early-mid October, the role will suit an experienced Aussie, Kiwi or South African Chief Engineer or someone located in the Southern Hemisphere.
Base Salary is at $9000 USD x 12. Further package details discussed with shortlisted candidates. Diving Qualifications are favourable as well, the Yacht spends a lot of time in dive areas and plans to do much more throughout the South Pacific. We are currently seeking two experienced Second Officers to join the crew of a 90-meter private motor yacht. This is a rotational position of two months on and two months off, with a monthly salary of €6,400. Leadership is key in this role, and you will be expected to supervise and guide junior kitchen staff if applicable, working collaboratively with the captain, interior, and deck teams to ensure a seamless onboard experience. Strict adherence to maritime safety and hygiene standards is essential, along with maintaining a spotless and well-organised galley. You should be comfortable engaging directly with guests, adapting to last-minute requests, and exceeding culinary expectations with professionalism and creativity. Applicants must have proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in luxury hospitality, fine dining, or on yachts or cruise ships. Formal culinary training and a strong command of international cuisines and techniques are essential, as are valid STCW certificates, Food Safety Level 2 (or higher), and an ENG1 medical. The right candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to work harmoniously as part of a close-knit crew of 19. Availability from early May 2025 is required.

This is a 3:3 rotation with a one-year contract commitment, starting on April 30, 2025, to allow for a thorough handover. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in both guest and crew cuisine, with a focus on fresh, healthy, and well-balanced menus. A genuine passion for seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients is highly valued. You should be confident in delivering consistently high-quality meals, managing provisioning and galley accounts, and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant workspace. Applicants should have at least three years of experience in similar roles on yachts of comparable or larger size. A valid ENG1 (with no restrictions) and up-to-date STCW certification are required.
